abstract An apparatus and method for noninvasively identifying a pathological lesion on the skin. This device and method finds and identifies various nevus, tumors, trauma and cancer (ie, melanoma) on various skins. This apparatus and method detects and images the skin lesion by performing combined analysis of visible and infrared light signals based on an integral technique and a spectral technique. This allows early warning and early treatment of potentially dangerous conditions.
