abstract The present invention comprises a cell divided by at least one group of transparent cells (15) juxtaposed parallel to one surface of the part and a wall (18) having said apodized cross section parallel to the surface of the part. Each relates to a transparent optical component (10), wherein each cell is hermetically sealed and comprises at least one substance having optical properties. The cell (15) has in particular a Gaussian profile of the wall. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such an optical component as well as use in the manufacture of optical elements. The optical element can in particular be a spectacle lens.
