abstract | The present invention provides a reaction product comprising a polyester-polycarbonate comprising polyester units and polycarbonate units, and a transesterification catalyst. The reaction product has a haze of less than 5.0%, in particular less than 3.5%, measured at a thickness of 3.2 mm according to ASTM D1003-00. Disclosed are thermoplastic compositions containing the reaction product, and articles molded therefrom. A method for shaping the reaction product is also disclosed. |
