titleOfInvention | Negative electrode current collector and method for forming the same, and negative electrode and secondary battery |
abstract | A secondary battery capable of obtaining excellent cycle characteristics is provided. A negative electrode includes a negative electrode active material layer including a negative electrode active material layer including at least one selected from the group consisting of a simple substance of silicon and a compound. The negative electrode current collector 51 has a base material 51A having a protrusion 51B made of copper provided on the surface. The protrusion 51B is formed by fixing the metal particles 51C to the surface of the base 51A with the metal coating 51D. The metal particles 51C are made of a ferromagnetic material, and the magnetization thereof is oriented in the direction intersecting the surface of the base material 51A. Therefore, the plurality of protrusions 51B are relatively uniformly distributed on the surface of the base material 51A without being localized. Due to the presence of the protrusion 51B, the internal stress generated during expansion and contraction in the negative electrode active material layer 52 is dispersed, and the contact area between the negative electrode current collector 51 and the negative electrode active material layer 52 is increased, and the mutual adhesion is increased.
