abstract | Provided is a method for recycling uranium from spent nuclear fuel that can improve the recovery rate of plutonium even when using a uranium separation method with a high plutonium entrainment rate. In a method for recycling uranium from spent nuclear fuel to obtain UF 6 from spent nuclear fuel, a uranium separation step for separating recovered uranium 5 from spent nuclear fuel 11, and a recovery obtained in the uranium separation step A fluorination apparatus 1 that fluorinates and volatilizes uranium 5 and a uranium-based adsorbent trap 4 that collects plutonium as a solid uranium compound from the recovered uranium 5 that is fluorinated and volatilized by the fluorination apparatus.
