A water-soluble bean-based extract containing soybean isoflavones and their derivatives having high solubility in water and a method for producing the same are provided. A step of mixing a ground crude bean extract with water, a step of heating the mixture, a step of adding a coagulant to the mixture to form a suspension, and a step of heating the suspension; Collecting the supernatant to obtain a water-soluble bean-based extract.
