abstract | To develop a neon light-absorbing film having an adhesive layer containing a cyanine dye as a neon light-absorbing dye and having good heat resistance and heat-and-moisture resistance, and an optical filter for PDP using the same. A neon light-absorbing film comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed of an adhesive containing an acrylic resin, a neon light-absorbing dye and an ionic liquid is provided on one surface of a transparent substrate. The excellent stability can be maintained even in a heat and humidity resistance test.
