abstract |
A high-quality deinked pulp having a high whiteness and a small amount of residual ink is produced. In a deinked pulp manufacturing process, a terpene compound is added to a pulp slurry having a pulp concentration in the range of 0.5 to 2.0% by weight in a place where the pulp slurry is well mixed with the pulp slurry before the flotator. By adding, it is possible to improve the ink removal performance from the pulp fiber as a raw material, and to obtain deinked pulp having a high commercial value in a high yield.
