abstract A search device capable of performing a search by a query including a tag at high speed is provided. Document number storage means 91 stores a list of document numbers of documents in association with a pointer indicating the list. The tag position management unit 92 includes a tag indicating an attribute of a word in the document, position information indicating a position of the word corresponding to the tag in the document, and a document number list of the document including the word corresponding to the tag. And a document number sample data in which a plurality of document numbers including at least the minimum document number and the maximum document number in the list of document numbers are described together with the document number order in the list. The inquiry information generation means 94 generates inquiry information that is information including the position of the character string corresponding to the query in the document and the search target for each tag in the query, and the search execution means 95 is the inquiry information.
