abstract |
The present invention provides a tread rubber composition and a studless tire excellent in wear resistance and grip. A tire tread rubber composition comprising 1 to 60 parts by mass of silica-calcium carbonate composite particles in which calcium carbonate particles are coated with silica with respect to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component. The silica-calcium carbonate composite particles are columnar or spindle-shaped, and the silica-calcium carbonate composite particles have an average diameter (Dx) of 0.2 μm to 1.0 μm and an average length (Lx) of 1.0 μm to 50 μm. The average value (Px) of the aspect ratio (Pn) defined by the ratio (Ln / Dn) of the length (Ln) of the silica-calcium carbonate composite particles and the diameter (Dn) is 5 to 200. is there.
