titleOfInvention Discharge lamp and lighting fixture
abstract An object of the present invention is to reduce the possibility of melting damage to a container covered with an external electrode even when the amount of power supply is increased, and has a strong electrostatic coupling between the external electrode and the inside of a discharge lamp. An object of the present invention is to provide a discharge lamp and a luminaire that are less likely to deteriorate. A discharge lamp of the present invention includes a container and an external electrode. The container 11 includes a light emitting portion 12 made of a glass tube and an electrode placement portion 13 in which an external electrode 15 is placed. The electrode arrangement portion 13 is made of ceramics and is formed thinner than the thickness of the light emitting portion 12. [Selection] Figure 1
