Wallpaper backing paper |
abstract |
【Task】 Provided is a wallpaper-backed paper having an appropriate paper strength with less occurrence of fuzz during coating of vinyl chloride paste or the like or in a subsequent drying step. [Solution] The wallpaper backing paper contains wood pulp and cellulose nanofibers, and the wallpaper backing paper is formed by applying or impregnating a coating liquid containing cellulose nanofibers to a base paper containing at least wood pulp. The cellulose nanofibers oxidize a cellulosic raw material using an oxidizing agent in the presence of any one compound selected from the group consisting of bromide, iodide and a mixture thereof and an N-oxyl compound. It is preferably obtained by a method including a step of obtaining oxidized cellulose and a step of wet atomization treatment of the oxidized cellulose to fibrillate the cellulose nanofibers.
