titleOfInvention | Gas generator |
abstract | The present invention provides a gas generator capable of simplifying the device configuration and capable of greatly reducing the amount of slag discharged even when it is reduced in size and weight. A cylinder type gas generator 1A includes a cylindrical member 10 whose one axial end is closed by a closing member 20, and a space inside the cylindrical member 10 is divided into a combustion chamber 17 and a filter chamber 18. A partition plate 15 provided with a communication hole 15a that communicates with the combustion chamber 17 and the filter chamber 18; a filter that is accommodated in the filter chamber 18 and spaced from the partition plate 15; and a filter chamber 18 and a rectifying member 24 erected from the partition plate 15. A gas outlet 11 is provided in the peripheral wall portion of the cylindrical member 10 at a portion located between the partition plate 15 and the filter 53. The flow regulating member 24 regulates the flow direction of the combustion gas so that the combustion gas ejected from the communication hole 15 a is blown toward the filter 53.
