titleOfInvention Rehydration antenna for ablation
abstract An improved device and method for maintaining an ablation temperature around a microwave antenna radio frequency probe during an ablation procedure. A cooling system for use with a microwave antenna, the microwave antenna configured to deliver microwave energy from a power source to tissue, and a power source operatively communicating with the power source, the load impedance and the line. A sensor module configured to detect at least one of the impedance and a plurality of fluid distribution ports and adapted to at least partially surround the microwave antenna 10 and fluid between the microwave antenna 10 A fluid pump operatively coupled to a power source and configured to selectively provide cooling fluid to the fluid channel and distribute it through the fluid distribution port based on a comparison of load impedance and line impedance. A cooling system comprising a delivery system. [Selection] Figure 1
