Process for preparing injectable preparations and apparatus for carrying out the process |
abstract |
A process for preparing an injectable preparation that maintains the homogeneity of a mixture of an active ingredient and a liquid and reduces the loss of the active ingredient, and an apparatus for carrying out the preparation process. The invention comprises the steps of preparing a solid form (18) of an active ingredient together with a liquid (22) in a vacuum, and a step of sucking the liquid into the solid form by the action of a vacuum to obtain an injectable formulation. A method comprising: The device comprises an airtight syringe (19) that regulates the dry form (18) under vacuum, and a reservoir (21) that includes a liquid (22) and a cap (29) that forms a coupling between the syringe and the liquid reservoir. And a syringe needle (25) which is pushed into the septum (24) of the cap (29). The present invention makes it possible to obtain a formulation that is directly injectable by means of an automatic rehydration step. Due to the action of the liquid drawn into the volume under vacuum containing the solid formulation (18) by aspiration, the instrument element moves by itself, so that an actual immediate preparation can be performed automatically after start-up.
