titleOfInvention | Counterfeit product detection method, identification tag used for detection of counterfeit product, counterfeit product detection device, ink cartridge including identification tag, and printing device using counterfeit product detection device |
abstract | The present invention provides a forged product detection method that can be implemented at low cost and that makes it difficult to forge an identification tag, an identification tag used for detecting the forged product, and a forged product detection device used for detecting the forged product. When a light emitting means 110 of a counterfeit detection device 100 irradiates excitation light L, a liquid crystal compound 202 of an identification tag 200 emits polarized fluorescence P. The polarized fluorescence P has only a polarization component in the major axis direction of the molecules of the liquid crystal compound 202. The polarized fluorescence P is incident on a plurality of polarizing plates 121 and 122 having different transmission axis directions. The transmitted light T1 transmitted through the polarizing plate 121 is relatively strong light, but the transmitted light T2 transmitted through the polarizing plate 122 is relatively weak light. A plurality of light detection means detect these, and the control means 140 determines the authenticity of the identification tag 200 according to the intensity of each light. [Selection] Figure 1 |
