[PROBLEMS] To provide a novel coating composition capable of imparting excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance and water repellency when formed into a coating film, and further imparting decontamination properties such as fingerprints and sebum, and contamination prevention using the coating composition. Provide a method. The coating composition has (I) a monomer (A) having a radical polymerizable double bond at the polymer terminal of an aliphatic or alicyclic alkyl group having 10 or more carbon atoms, and a curable functional group. A graft copolymer comprising a monomer as an essential component and further copolymerizing monomers other than (A) and (B) according to need; and (II) a curing agent, A coating composition is applied.
