titleOfInvention | Lactone monomer purified product, polymer and optical fiber thereof, and production method thereof |
abstract | The present invention provides a purified lactone monomer for forming a lactone polymer excellent in colorless transparency and thermal stability. SOLUTION: The lactone monomer represented by the general formula (1) and a sulfur compound having a boiling point higher than that of the lactone monomer are contained as impurities, and the sulfur concentration derived from the sulfur compound is 50 ppm or less. A purified product of lactone monomer. (In the formula (1), R 1 represents a methyl group, an ethyl group or a propyl group, and R 2 and R 3 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted group or a carbon atom having 1 to 12 carbon atoms which may be substituted with a fluorine atom. An alkyl group, a phenyl group which may be unsubstituted or substituted with an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and R 2 and R 3 are 5 together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded together. Alternatively, a 6-membered ring may be formed, and the 5- or 6-membered ring may be substituted with a fluorine atom.) [Selection figure] None |
