abstract |
A method for producing a negatively charged toner mainly composed of a polyester resin having a uniform surface charge state is provided. A mother particle is prepared by emulsification of a polyester resin, a positively charged compound is held on the surface of the mother particle, and the mother particle holding the positively charged compound is brought into contact with the negatively charged control resin fine particles to thereby form the mother particle. The negative charge control resin fine particles are fixed to the surface of the toner to produce toner mother particles. [Selection] Figure 2 |
