abstract | [Object] To provide a vinyl chloride resin which is mainly used for a battery separator and has excellent powder coating properties and sintering properties. A vinyl chloride resin obtained by a suspension polymerization method, comprising 0.1 parts by weight or more and 0.3 parts by weight or less of methylcellulose derivative with respect to 100 parts by weight of a vinyl chloride monomer. A surfactant is used in an amount of 0.08 parts by weight to 0.14 parts by weight, and a cationic surfactant is added at the end of the polymerization. The resulting resin has a powder particle size of 24 μm to 45 μm. This is achieved with a vinyl chloride resin. [Selection figure] None |
