Provided are a solid electrolytic capacitor having a small size, high capacity, low impedance, good resistance to moisture load, and excellent heat resistance, and a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A fibril structure having at least one repeating unit selected from a thiophene skeleton, an isothianaphthene skeleton, a pyrrole skeleton, a furan skeleton and an aniline skeleton is formed on a porous metal dielectric film having a valve action.
