PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a lens having a coat layer made of a photocurable coating agent on the primer coat layer of a lens having a primer coat layer and having a thin central portion, and having good adhesion of the coat layer and improving the appearance. A method for manufacturing a superior lens is provided. When a coat layer is formed by light irradiation in a lens having a thin central portion coated with a photocurable coating agent on a primer coat layer, the lens surface temperature immediately before the first light irradiation is set to 30.
