abstract A hematocrit value measuring method and a hematocrit value measuring apparatus capable of accurately measuring a hematocrit value are provided. A method for measuring a hematocrit value of a blood sample in a color reaction using a coloring reagent that reacts with a component in blood different from hemoglobin, the light having at least one absorption wavelength specific to hemoglobin 1 based on the optical characteristic a 1 of the blood sample measured in 1 and the optical characteristic a 2 of the blood sample measured with light λ 2 having at least one absorption wavelength specific for the dye produced by the color reaction.
