abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocarbon oxycarbonyloxyalkanoic acid ester compound capable of obtaining a hydrocarbon oxycarbonyloxyalkanoic acid ester compound represented by the above formula (1) which is a target product in a simple and high yield. It is an object to provide an industrial manufacturing method. In the presence of at least one solid catalyst selected from alkali metal carbonates, alkaline earth metal carbonates, alkaline earth metal hydroxides, alkaline earth metal oxides, ion exchange resins and clay minerals, It has been found that a hydrocarbon oxycarbonyloxyalkanoic acid ester compound can be produced in an extremely high yield by reacting a carbonate compound with a cyclic ester.
