abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a means for improving blanket piling, particularly for improving the blanket piling from the viewpoint of a fountain solution composition and having other excellent printability. Provided is a fountain solution composition capable of suppressing contamination of a water supply roller without causing damage. A diol-based acyclic hydrocarbon compound having two OH groups and a total carbon number of 6 to 8, wherein the two OH groups are bonded to the first and second carbon atoms, respectively.
