titleOfInvention | Process for producing modified olefin polymer and modified olefin polymer |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a modified olefin polymer excellent in adhesiveness by a melting method, and a modified olefin polymer produced by the production method. A process for producing a modified olefin polymer comprising the following steps 1, 2 and 3. Step 1: An olefin polymer (component A), an unsaturated compound having a polar group (component B) and an organic peroxide (component C) are fed into a continuous extruder at a specific quantitative ratio. Mixing at a temperature equal to or lower than the decomposition temperature where the half-life is 1 hour and less than the half-life time of component C at that temperature Step 2: Mixing the mixture obtained in Step 1 with a half-time of component C of 10 seconds Kneading in a continuous extruder at a temperature equal to or higher than the decomposition temperature that is at least three times the half-life of component C at that temperature Step 3: The kneaded product obtained in Step 2 is reduced to half the component C Kneading in a continuous extruder at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of 10 hours and longer than the kneading time in Step 2 [Selection] None |
