abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal cleaning composition having good foaming during use, easy to wash out, excellent in animal feel after use, particularly smooth after drying, and low in skin irritation. SOLUTION: (a) 0.1 to 20% by mass of a block-type alkylene oxide derivative represented by the following general formula (I), (b) 2 to 30% by mass of an anionic surfactant, and (c) an amphoteric interface. An animal cleaning composition comprising 1 to 30% by mass of an activator and (d) 0.1 to 2% by mass of a cationic polymer. Z- {O-[(AO) a- (EO) b ] -R} 2 (I) (In the formula, Z is a dimer diol residue, EO is an oxyethylene group, AO is an oxyalkylene group having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, a and b are average added moles of EO group and AO group, and 1 ≦ 2 × a ≦ 150, 1 ≦ 2 × b ≦ 150, the ratio of the EO group to the total of the AO group and the EO group is 10 to 99% by mass, and R is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.)
