titleOfInvention | Inkjet recording apparatus and image recording method |
abstract | An ink jet recording apparatus and an image recording method are provided that perform preferable image recording without causing an abnormality such as curling on a recording medium. A permeation inhibitor 1 is deposited on a paper 16 to form a permeation inhibitor layer 1A on the paper 16. Next, the treatment liquid 2 for aggregating the colorant in the ink (or increasing the viscosity of the ink dots) is deposited on the permeation suppression agent layer 1A, and the treatment liquid 2 is dried to form the treatment liquid layer 2A. To do. After the treatment liquid layer 2A is formed, the CMYK inks 3 are ejected in accordance with the image data. Ink 3 contains a high boiling point organic solvent having an SP value of 28 (MPa) 1/2 or less in a ratio of 10% to 95%, so that it does not penetrate paper 16 and curling of paper 16 is prevented. When the content ratio of the high-boiling organic solvent is 10% or more and 90% or less, the movement of the ink (coloring material) that has reacted with the treatment liquid is suppressed, and preferable image recording can be performed.
