To provide a recording apparatus having high transfer efficiency of a curable solution layer from an intermediate transfer member to a recording medium. An intermediate transfer belt and a solution supply device for supplying a curable solution containing at least a curable material that is cured by an external stimulus onto the intermediate transfer belt to form a cured layer. Then, the inkjet recording head 14 for applying ink to the cured layer 12B formed on the intermediate transfer belt 10 and the cured layer 12B to which ink is applied are brought into contact with the recording medium P, and the recording medium P is transferred from the intermediate transfer belt 10 to the recording medium P. A transfer device 16 that transfers the layer to be cured 12B, and a stimulus supply device 18 that supplies a stimulus for curing the layer to be cured 12B to the layer to be cured 12B. The stimulus includes the layer to be cured 12B and the recording medium. The recording apparatus 101 is characterized in that the recording apparatus 101 is supplied immediately before and during contact with P. [Selection] Figure 1 |
