abstract | The present invention provides a scale formation inhibitor, a method for inhibiting scale formation, and a green liquor production system that can sufficiently suppress the formation of scale in a green liquor production system using a material that can be produced by an inexpensive and simple production system. A scale formation inhibitor contains a terpolymer whose monomer units are substantially composed of maleic acid, acrylic acid and vinyl acetate. By introducing such a terpolymer into the fluid in the green liquor production system 30 containing scale-forming ions, the formation of scale is suppressed. [Selection] Figure 1 |
