titleOfInvention | Core-sheath type hollow composite fiber having sound absorption performance |
abstract | Disclosed is a core-sheath hollow composite fiber that efficiently converts vibration energy due to sound into thermal energy by the movement of a thermoplastic polymer present in a hollow portion and exhibits excellent sound absorption. A sheath component 1 is a thermoplastic polymer (A), and core components 2 and 3 are a water-soluble thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol polymer (B) and a thermoplastic polymer (C) combined or mixed. A core-sheath type composite fiber in which the water-soluble thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol polymer (B) is disposed around the thermoplastic polymer (C), and a core-sheath type hollow composite fiber obtained therefrom.
