abstract The present invention provides an ethylene homopolymer having a high proportion of unsaturated groups at one end of a polymer chain and a high proportion of vinylidene groups in the number of unsaturated groups at one end of a polymer chain and a controlled branched structure. An ethylene homopolymer satisfying the following requirements (1) to (4). (1) 8 or more ethyl branches per 1000 carbon atoms (2) 0.1 or less alkyl branches other than ethyl branches, respectively (3) Terminal unsaturated groups (terminal vinyl groups, terminal vinylene groups, terminal vinylidenes) The ratio of the terminal vinyl group to the terminal vinylene group in the total group) is such that the terminal vinyl group / terminal unsaturated group <0.01, and the terminal vinylene group / terminal unsaturated group <0.01. (4) The ratio of terminal vinylidene group to terminal methyl group is such that terminal vinylidene group / terminal methyl group> 0.90. [Selection figure] None
