abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a filter for an image display device having a desired optical filter function, high transparency, and electromagnetic wave shielding function required for an image display device such as near-infrared absorption and antireflection of external light, and a minimum number of layers and a manufacturing process. Provided is a front filter for an image display device which is configured by a number, has no disconnection in a patterned electromagnetic wave shielding layer, has a high aspect ratio, and is excellent in conductivity and electromagnetic wave shielding properties. A surface adjustment layer selected from any of an antiglare layer, an antireflection layer and a hard coat layer is formed on one surface of a transparent substrate, and a primer layer is formed on the other surface of the transparent substrate. A pattern layer made of a conductive composition, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are laminated in this order, and the near-infrared absorber in any one or more of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the primer layer, the transparent substrate or the surface adjustment layer, A front filter for a display device containing at least one absorber selected from a neon light absorber, a toning agent and an ultraviolet absorber, wherein the primer layer has a thickness formed by the pattern layer The front filter for a display device is characterized in that the thickness of the portion formed is thicker than the thickness of the portion where the pattern layer is not formed.
