abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a polymerized toner capable of easily controlling the particle size and particle size distribution in an aqueous suspension polymerization method, and has the above-mentioned narrowed target particle system distribution. A suspension polymerization toner including particles such as an agent and a release agent is provided. A suspension polymerization toner produced by suspension polymerization of a polymerizable monomer system containing at least a colorant and a release agent in an aqueous medium system, the suspension polymerization toner having a particle size of 10 ˜100 μm primary particles are pulverized by shearing force, emulsified and dispersed, and once subjected to a high-pressure emulsifying device that gives back pressure, secondary particles are obtained. After polymerization, after the drying step, classification is performed. In the number particle size distribution of 4 μm or less of the toner particle diameter, Z is less than 3% in the number particle size distribution of 4 μm or less of the toner particle diameter, and the base toner is treated with metal oxide fine particles.
