The present invention is to isolate an autoantibody bound to catopeptin by acidifying the cat specimen, and to separate an autoantibody not bound to catopeptin by adding a protein precipitant, After the autoantibodies are removed from the feline, the catoleptin present in the feline specimen is measured by an immunological measurement method.
