In the presence of a base (4), (5) or (6) and an optically active phase transfer catalyst (7) or (8) in a solvent, the compound represented by the general formula (1) R 1 CHO (1) A carbonyl compound represented by general formula (2) R F SiR 2 R 3 R 4 (2) Is reacted with perfluoroalkylsilanes represented by the general formula (3) R F CH (OSiR 2 R 3 R 4 ) R 1 (3) Or a desilylated general formula (4) R F CH (OH) R 1 (4) A process for producing an optically active perfluoroalkyl secondary alcohol derivative represented by the formula: [Selection figure] None
