abstract |
A sintered body having excellent mechanical strength as compared with a conventional sintered body of a manganese-based oxide is provided. A sintered body containing a manganese-based oxide as a main component, having a relative density of 90% or more, and an average value of the size of constituting grains being 3 μm or less. The sintered body, wherein the manganese oxide has a perovskite crystal structure or a layered perovskite crystal structure. The sintered body, wherein the sintered body further contains an inorganic substance. Said sintered compact whose inorganic substance is 1 or more types of oxides chosen from nickel oxide, copper oxide, and zinc oxide. The total molar amount of M (wherein M represents one or more selected from the group consisting of nickel, copper and zinc) with respect to 1 mol of manganese contained in the sintered body is 0.0001 or more and 1 or less. Said sintered body. A thermoelectric conversion material comprising the sintered body. A thermoelectric conversion element comprising the thermoelectric conversion material. [Selection figure] None |
