abstract |
【Task】 Providing a process for producing elastomer-based highly cohesive non-thermoplastic pressure sensitive adhesives that use no solvents or thermoplastic additives and still have low thermal degradation during compounding. [Solution] This task is achieved by the addition of an evaporable processing aid which is introduced into the adhesive after premixing of the components and evaporates there impactfully, thereby quenching the adhesive. Furthermore, it is proposed to use water for the cooling of the adhesive and a highly cohesive pressure sensitive adhesive thus produced as well as a pressure sensitive adhesive tape with this type of adhesive.
