[PROBLEMS] To provide an activity capable of efficiently performing an oxidation reaction of an alcohol without using a cocatalyst or a reoxidant, and can be easily recovered and reused after use without causing metal leakage, and repeatedly used. Further, a polymer-immobilized ruthenium catalyst whose activity is not lowered is provided. A polymer-immobilized ruthenium in which a ruthenium metal is supported on a crosslinked polymer by reacting a ruthenium precursor with a crosslinkable polymer having an aromatic side chain and a side chain having an alkoxysilyl group. catalyst.
