abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning agent or dental rinse that can be used as an alternative to antibiotics by eliminating antibiotic side effects and patient stress in dental treatment. SOLUTION External cleaning for dental treatment such as implant surgery at as high a concentration as possible using an extract obtained by immersing and stirring an outer skin of a mangosteen fruit in a solution of Hypericumaceae in a solvent of an ethanol aqueous solution or a diluted solution thereof. A dental rinse for postoperative and stomatitis treatment. The xanthone derivative in the extract or its diluted solution exhibits an effective fibrin net formation promoting action, thereby repairing the invasive site such as gums and healing the inflammatory affected part earlier than the treatment with antibiotics and without the side effects A remarkable effect is obtained. In addition, since washing is performed by dripping a syringe and dental rinse is gargled, contact with the affected area can be avoided, and the patient's pain associated with dental treatment can be eliminated.
