titleOfInvention | Method for producing membrane-electrode assembly |
abstract | A method for producing a joined body of a fuel cell catalyst layer and an electrolyte membrane excellent in methanol insolubility and proton conductivity, and a fuel cell including the joined body are provided. SOLUTION: From a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group, a vinyl polymer A having at least one crosslinkable group selected from the group consisting of an epoxy group and an isocyanate group protected by a protective group, and a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and an amino group. A vinyl polymer B having at least one crosslinkable group selected from the group consisting of an acidic group in which at least one of the vinyl polymer A and the vinyl polymer B forms a salt. After applying the polymer composition, the electrolyte membrane 3 having a reactive functional group is sandwiched between the catalyst layers 1 and 2, the fuel cell cathode catalyst layer 1, the anode catalyst layer 2, and the electrolyte membrane are adhered, and then the salt A membrane-electrode assembly for a fuel cell obtained by proton exchange.
