abstract | An object of the present invention is to predict the influence of observation noise in spectral characteristic estimation using an estimation operator. An influence calculation unit calculates a relative influence on noise from an estimation operator. Further, the weight calculation unit 145 calculates a weight coefficient used for pigment amount estimation based on the relative influence on noise. Then, the spectrum estimation unit 147 estimates the spectrum (spectral transmittance) of the target sample based on the pixel value of the target sample image, and the pigment amount estimation unit 149 uses the weighting factor to determine the hematoxylin used for staining the target sample. And the amount of pigment in the target specimen is estimated based on the standard spectral characteristics of each pigment of eosin. [Selection] Figure 5 |
