abstract | The present invention provides a modified graft copolymer having a sufficiently long polyolefin chain length and a high modification amount. A modified graft copolymer obtained by modifying a functional group of a graft copolymer, wherein the graft copolymer satisfies the following (a) to (e), and the functional group reacts: A modified graft copolymer having functional side chains is provided. (A) Graft ratio is 1-150 mass% (B) The weight average molecular weight measured by GPC is 500 to 400,000. (C) Molecular weight distribution (Mw / Mn) is 1.5-4 (D) The main chain is a polymer chain containing a monomer unit having a functional group (e) The side chain is a kind of homopolymer chain selected from α-olefins having 3 to 28 carbon atoms or two or more kinds of co-polymer chains.
