Medical device having a lubricious surface and method of manufacturing the same |
abstract |
【Task】 In the manufacture of therapeutic guidewires and the like, various methods for reducing the thickness of the coating resin layer as much as possible have been studied so far, but it has been difficult to ensure lubrication durability. The present invention realizes a medical device having a new function and excellent lubrication durability by developing a new manufacturing method in which a hydrophilic compound is directly coated on a metal substrate. [Solution] The surface of the metal substrate that constitutes the medical device is reacted with a sulfur-containing compound having a functional group capable of reacting with the metal to introduce the functional group onto the metal surface, and the hydrophilic compound is chemically immobilized on the metal surface. The object of the present invention is achieved. [Selection figure] None |
