Provided is an electrostatic charge image developing carrier capable of suppressing generation of streak-like image defects and obtaining a good image even when low-speed printing and high-speed printing are alternately repeated. An exposed carrier core includes a carrier core material and a resin coating layer, a carrier shape factor SF1 is 125 or less, and the number of exposed carrier core materials on the carrier surface is 10 or more and 60 or less. Among the materials, those having a ferret horizontal diameter in the range of 1 μm to 3 μm are 80% by number or more of electrostatic charge image developing carriers. [Selection figure] None |
