abstract | To produce a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that is unlikely to swell even after repeated charge and discharge, has excellent long-term charge and discharge cycle characteristics, and can have a high capacity and high energy density. As a solvent component of a non-aqueous electrolyte, a mixed solvent of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate is used. At the same time, in order to improve the wettability of the mixed solvent to the electrode group, when the nonaqueous electrolyte containing the mixed solvent is injected into the battery case, the low boiling point solvent is added to 100 parts by volume of the mixed solvent. 10 to 30 parts by volume are mixed, the low-boiling solvent is evaporated after the non-aqueous electrolyte is wetted with the electrode group, and the battery case is sealed to obtain a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery.
