abstract |
The present invention provides an effective influenza vaccine via an intradermal route. An intradermal short needle delivery device having a skin contact element that effectively limits needle penetration into the dermis to a depth of about 1.5 mm, and a trivalent non-live influenza antigen preparation. A vaccine kit for intradermal delivery comprising a single dose influenza vaccine capable of inducing a protective immune response against all three influenza strains in the human population.
