In a lithographic printing plate precursor having an image recording layer on which a non-exposed portion can be removed by supplying printing ink and fountain solution or supplying a gum solution after exposure on a support. A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising a betaine compound represented by formula (I) or (II) in a recording layer and / or an undercoat layer.
