titleOfInvention Apparatus, system, and method for treating waste material
abstract An apparatus, system, and method are provided for treating biomass separated by steam autoclave processing. A part of biomass treated in a steam autoclave is diluted and sufficiently stirred at an effective temperature to loosen and straighten the cellulose long fibers to make them useful for the paper industry, The remaining biomass mixture is gravity separated, diluted and concentrated, and then fed to the hybrid anaerobic digester 100 so that the solid portion of the biomass is anaerobically digested in the high solids zone 134 and converted to biogas. The fluid portion of the biomass produces biogas by anaerobic digestion in the adherent growth medium zone 122, and the solid extracted from the outlet 112 is solid fuel or compost.
