abstract A method for molding a fiber reinforced composite material and a fiber reinforced composite material capable of improving resin impregnation properties when molded by RTM are provided. According to a method for molding a fiber-reinforced composite material 1 of the present invention, a laminated body 4 in which a reinforcing base material 2 in which reinforcing fibers 2a made of long fibers are oriented and a nonwoven fabric 3 are laminated is placed in a mold 10. Thereafter, a thermosetting matrix resin is injected into the mold 10. The nonwoven fabric 3 is comprised from the nonwoven fabric which orientated the long fiber 3a made from a thermoplastic resin.
